WELL i put my bike back to its winning form .. i had changed a shock out thinking it wouldn't make that much differance 2 weeks ago .. well for the last 2 races i went to i didn't even make 2nd round ..wheelie or a mis-shift almost every pass....haven't had a shifting or wheelie problem in 2 years .. olde busa shock back on and 5.80's are a snap every pass ..look out abilene.. no doubt in my mind now that them zx14 shocks are junk ..

heck i didn't even want to chance spending money on it .. after compairing it to 3 other shocks in the shop i don't think anything can help it ... but what i would like to try is a connie 14 shock

Look in the Class/Payout /Tech link. Main thing is, no electronics. No 2-step. No autoshift. You must leave on the throttle/clutch manually (no button). Any power adders can be used. They did this so the guys on the streetbikes could race and be competitive. http://www.abilenedragstrip.com/tech.html

Had a great time in spite of being surrounded by Kawasakis and dragsters all weekend.Hope to do it again soon.

Glad you guys showed up. The track owner was very impressed with all the fast bikes. Hope you all come back next year.
Oh yea...bring a few more Suzuki riders and you won't be surrounded by Kawasakis...LOL!!
