If it makes 20+ over a Gen 2 Busa, I might be FORCED to get one. 20 hp is a HUGE difference.

in this video the zx12 gives up the hit to a zx14 and walks on by it as you can see
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EtpgIlTkbE&feature=related
beats me why it took 12 years to find a 200hp motor again ...

It has to make the power on size and breathing alone no way it doesn't make the power.

My dealer is saying the ZX 14R is an absolute BEAST.................not saying I believe this since dealer's have a vested interest in selling bikes............but people at my dealer are claiming 30 more horsepower than a Gen1 Zx 14 or Gen 2 Busa............197 to the tire was what they said..................like I said before I was expecting 20 more HP and thats what I think we'll probably get.

this is what i am thinking about the comparison race that RG did vs. busa.
with that high of elevation and 100 degrees temp. busa which is capapble of 9.70 did at the best about 10.00 and zx14 did 9.7.. so.. it is about 3/10 faster than busa and i am thinking that on normal elevation and mild temp. zx14 stock is capable of 9.40... wow!! that is awesome!!
i bet u this bike has more than 190 rw hp!! i say about 200 hp.
you imagine removing those heavy mufflers and strap the front!!!

if you read RG's post on the Booza vs 14t race, without a clutch mod the Booza is not going to launch good, so the 14r had a advantage before the lights came on, had the Booza had the clutch mod it would have been a really close race, I think the 14r would have won but the Booza would have been right on it's tail, RG's video says it all "big Booza wheelie"

if you know like I know, the busa is nowhere close to the 14r.... regardless of the launch... look how it pulls away from the busa.... especially the dash cam view

I agree, the launch in drag racing doesn't have any effect on the end of the track results.

all of you are going to be happily surprised at the numbers this new 14r produces. It's well worth the 15k.... you can't build a 1441 with all the features this bike has..... a new 14 can be bought around 10k, piston, stroker crank, head/cam (cost over 5k not including paying for the build), now add traction control, better cooling(larger radiator, internal oiling, lighter components, traction control, power selector)...
