Sounds like you did well Smoking, good deal. I agree 100%, if the 14R does not sell well who knows how long it will be offered.... On the other hand if it turns out as popular as the Gen 1, in 5 years you will be able to get a great deal on a Gen 2 when the Gen 3 is released ;-)

I have an 06 with 24k on it. It has a bunch of goodies on it as well as 2008 silver plastics. I was toying around with trynna get $6k firm for it to use as a down payment on the gen2 14 but at 15k it's just not that serious for me. I may hold off a year and pick up a leftover or a well-kept used one. To be honest, I have a perfectly good 14. Makes more horsepower than I can use. Looks great And does what I need it to do. I only want the gen2 cuz it's "new." otherwise I will not suffer with my gen1. Now if they were more in the $11-12k range otd then I may be working some magic but I'm just not ready to swallow paying $15k for a sportbike. Not yet anyhow lol.

07 blacked out, flies out, getting short meg/pcIII this winter. Worth its weight in gold as far as I'm concerned. I'll have this bike til it blows up. Got it late April this year with 3300 miles and already it's already almost at 9kmi on it. Can't wait til next season.
