magazine test on zx14r

looking forward to see few magazine tests on new zx14r. like to see what the real hp and torque is on this new monster. handling, braking and qtr mile results.
most important like to see the head to head comparison of the first gen zx14 and the new zx14r and 2nd gen busa and zx14r.
i saw the qtr miles that rickey g.ran on zx14r but i think there might be a little hold back on his ride on busa!! 10.25 ...not sure about that!! i know the2nd gen. busas are hard to lunch.
will i buy one for that sticker price? the answer is hell no.i guess i wait till they have quite a few left in show rooms not sold and start giving them away. i have confidence that will happen!

So,

You think that was staged? You saw the video from the cockpit... if the rider was pulling out with the bike.... he is use to throwing fights or what ever.....

Rg is not going to give his INTEGRITY away like that.... What he didn't show as the qtr mile ticket... that will tell the story .... Perhaps he will....

From what I have seen of stock busa 08 and above are not that fast..... I think it might clip 9.99 or so,

Keith Dennis only went low 10:01@150 MPH and this was in Palm Beach, FL (bone stock) and the track elevation is only 21 feet

no i am not saying that but i think rickey g. with his skill and weight would have done better than 10.25 vs. the other dude did 10.10. if you see the gadson was wheeling that busa from get go!! those busas are bitch to lunch. i have lost so many drag race to other 1st gen busas because of that.

Busa08 i pay no mind to what Magazines have to say about drag racing .. Very few if any Magazine riders are drag racers so their numbers mean allmost nothing ..

What we need is guys like Brock , Ricky, Adams and Muzzy to get their hands on one and dyno it .. We need guys like we have here to test this bike and show us numbers .. We have some of the best non pro riders around right here on bikeland that we can trust to give us the low down ..We have guys here with great skills and of all weights and sizes for real world testing .. Proof is in the pudding...

I put my first 08 Busa together at 3:30 on a friday out of the crate, put 2 gallons of fuel in it and a front end strap took the long way to the track for a total of 50 miles and ran a 9.899 at 145mph that night. roughly 1500 ft of air. I weighed 210 suited. no way in hell ricky can't put that busa in the 9's

First let me be the first to say the new 14 is faster then the genII busa.
Now that thats out of the way. there is no way in stock form that the zx14 should beat the genII busa and I say this because the torque of the new 14 is way higher then the busa and at sock lenth anyone who has ridden a 14 will tell you it is a wheelie monster let alone a new the 14 which is a beast compared to the old one. one of The reasons the genII busa beat the first 14 in stock form was it was lower and longer making it easyer to keep down.
Now you take a bike like the new 14 give it more torque and hp at the same height and lenth let say that some of the non pro best rider can chime in on this. A stock 180hp lower longer bike againt a 2010 hp shorter higher setting bike No straps or lowering. I think properly setup 14 all the way stock 14 has too much to keep down.

the problem with second gen. busa is lunching difficulty.. they design the gearing to rev faster ( larger rear sprocket) for that reason in stock position it is very difficult to get max out of that bike lunching!

How many passes have you made on a gen 2 busa?

The magazines usually correct the numbers tbey run, rarely do they post what they actually run-so don't look foreward to a motorcycle journalist's assessment, look for it in the real world-punk...
