Lol, of you only knew what was in my garage right now.
____________
06 zx14, 65", lowered, muzzy pipe, pcIII, air shifter, Litz revalve, Adams cut seat, OSR cut pan 87 pump gas.
Engine tech sounds like a significant improvement.
I agree. I am still excited about the engine, and somewhat excited that most of our stuff should transfer to one of these, but disappointed that there isn't more difference.
But it shouldn't be too expensive to swap some bodywork or buy catalyst stuff when it becomes available and then a motor swap. Or at least a lot less expensive than buying a new one.

The throttle bodies are still 44 mm..... so this means that there should be another 8 hp when you switch over to our bored 47 mm throttle bodies just like in the gen 1 zx14's.

It should affect the new ones a bit more since the displacement, heads, and cams are revised, that will definitely be a great mod.
Did you guys watch the head-to-head video? It was in Vegas, 97 degrees outside, 9.74 at 146...

Curb weight: 584.3 lbs. and we know that manufacturers fudge these numbers on the low side. I will be disappointed if they don't offer a version without traction control and the slipper clutch. And that new radiator is huge, big improvement for the street, but I see a lot of drag racers buying up the Gen 1 radiators for a little weight savings.
