New zx14 , is it real or fake ..?

Bikeland ( Fish ) what's up ? If this is a fake someone has some real skills to make Ads like these.. Maybe this is deliberate deceit to keep us from seeing the real ZX14 untill its real release .. Or maybe it is just a cruel joke by someone ? If the Ads are fake why is Ricky and Kawi not saying something, anything ? Does Bikeland have something to do with this ? The Ads show up here first, why ?

I saw that also .. But if they can fake a You Tube AD they could fake that also .. To me it all looks real and i hope it is ..

I say fake...........I just cant see Kawasaki going back to an R version unless they keep the current 1352cc Zx 14 in the lineup and offer a high dollar special edition ZX 14R at a premium price.............I just cant see them giving up the do it all very versatile current platform that works well for everything from sport touring to dragracing to the occasional corner carver for a much more narrowly focused platform.

There seems to be a deliberate misinformation campaign going on judging by how radically different the rumors have been from supercharged to 1429cc 1X2..........to 1440cc 4mm stroke................so I still say the one thing that isnt being hyped even 100cc increase via a 1X3 to 1452cc is very possible

Who is this guy Kawasakimec that is posting these ADs on You Tube ? If it were Kawasaki posting the Ads would it not say Kawasaki.com ?

Looks to me like a deliberate misinformation campaign from Kawasaki to stir the pot and keep us talking and speculating..........or some schmuck with too much time on his hands!!!

What could possibly be gained from having a facebook page years old only to contain misinformation? Everything else on the fb site is accurate. If you look at the sneek previews of the 2012 zx10, they are done the same way. Kawasaki main web site has a promo going on pushing all the 11 models, in fine print says expires sep 30 th, at which point, the teaser adds for 2012 models may be added to the main site. But thats my opinion.

Maybe I'm just a skeptic but Kaw doesn't change anything until the sales dry up. ZX11 10 yrs, KLR Concours etc. Myself I could see a tweak for more power bigger TB's head work that sort which reminds me from a while back. Wouldn't there have to be a emissions test certification process that is trackable?

Like I said in the other thread, I will believe it in October. I have a local source with very old ties to Kawasaki to tell me yesterday to not get my hopes up too high. They had no info of any kind but commented that the videos on youtube have happened in the past on other models that never materialized and then videos disappeared when the real new model came out. I was trying to be optimistic but these guys really knocked that down a notch or two.
A former business associate was working in Honda's design dept as a photographer a few years back.(maybe 03) Honda had designed, built, and started video commercials and dealer posters of a large displacement Busa killer that was going to be a design shock like the very first Suzuki Katana was back in 82. Out of nowhere Honda execs.come to the studio and demanded they work around the clock getting the bike crated up and back to Honda HQ. All videos, photos, banners, etc. were destroyed leaving no trace of it. There were some very pissed off engineers and design people. Honda had decided to not enter a "pissing match" that was a legal dilemma for them. They had already had the Blackbird smashed by the Busa and that really disgraced Honda.
Triumph pretty much did the same thing a couple yrs later, but there were some spy photos leaked out of their's being tested before they squashed that program.

i c ... just looked at them..... I can't confirm or deny but they appear to be from the same source which I know is legit. Suppose we'll all know on oct 10!
PS.. also note that H4L never mentioned the vids at bikeland or cycleworld
