Can't wait to see the whole thing. Sounds good so far and like what I see. I like how they are keeping some of the same styling and wonder what will be different and if anything will be interchangeable like the exhaust.

now anyone can go 200 mph.....

I hope the block is taller so they can use longer rods.... the busa rods are 7 mm longer than the current zx-14.

Jim , can you stuff bigger valves in there with the same bore ?

Do you think our current parts will swap with the new bike?

If the redline stays the same with a 4mm stroke increase would that be a good indication that Kawi went with a bigger head and cams?

So how noticable of a difference in torque will the 4mm stroke increase make.............do you think it will make Wrongway type beastly torque...............will it be as big of a difference as going from a ZX 12 to a ZX 14?

the extra cc would give you about 12 1/2 hp, but the torque would be really noticeable at low in I guess they'll have to tweak the flies again LOL.

To quote ME from the other thread a few days ago:

quote:
Nope, it *should* be called the ZX-14R, with all that implies.
No more touring ZZR1200, ZZR1400, but an actual "R" model.
'Course, if it happens to be a ZX-15R, even better!

R you listening, Kawasaki?

Now I'm *obligated* to buy one................................

Trust me saying that I am not trying to be negative, but I will only believe what I see and hear about the bike in October.

If they didn't up the compression, put on bigger throttle bodies and gave it a head that will flow, I'll fly to japan and throw eggs at KHI.
