How much do you weigh?

What kind of shock set up?

Has it been adjusted for your application?

Is your bike stock height front and rear?

Do you have a strap on the front forks?

What rear tire are you using?

Is your bike show room stock or are you running a PC, BMC Race filter etc, etc?

How much fuel is in your bike when your racing?

What kind of fuel are you racing with?

How much experience have you got? How much with this bike?

How many passes on the clutch, miles on the bike?

Do you shalllow stage or deep stage or somewhere in between?

What kind of chain are you running?

I don't know much about dragracing but I can tell you that all of the above among many other things can and will affect you 60' times. Good Luck and be safe!

It doesn't take a lock-up to go 1.3s.
Cycle Concepts sales a good clutch pack if you need one.

1.35 Cycle Concepts Drag pack, Brock's springs, but I don't have a Wee or Smokin clutch hand so I had to be at 65.5". But I will be the first ever to say that I don't like the Drag pack. I didn't get anywhere near as many passes with it as I did with the stock one. I am going to stick with OEM from here on out, they are only $190 from Adams.

*Edit forgot to add I run 16/43, I weigh around 170.

1.32 is the best ever for me but a lot of 1.34-1.35s. Stock clutch and stock springs 17-45 gearing on the genII, spraying out of the hole. 1.37 with this gearing on motor and with a 17-53 gearing I have gone 1.34 on motor.

60 ft has a lot to do with bike set up and your riding ability. Your bike is not set up just yet.

If you are not lowered in the rear yet, get it there. Get rid of that shock...it does not have the greatest valving and the stiffer spring only makes it worse.

I've done 1.53s on stock wheelbase with it set up properly.

Hrm, funny... Mine launched great with the 13.8kg/in racetech spring on stock valving. I know it would have done better with an aftermarket valve, but the stiffer spring makes it better if you're 180+ lbs. I only had a couple of trips to the track on my bike with the stretch before I sold it, but it launched great.

Using a multistage wheel driven clutch right now and doing 1.42's best in the summer heat, same as the single stage Cycle Logic I had before it. I'm hoping 1.30's when the weather cools but I also keep putting on weight (242 suited now).

Learn to ride it and get the best out of it, you are nowhere near that now. You won't get the most out of a lock up and only be giving yourself a crutch as to why the bike is not performing.

This was not meant to be a smartass put down...
