Misconceptions of a turbo system. First off a turbo with low compression and big injectors will not be a pig off boost if everything is sized properly

Then why do manufactures run 2 sets of injectors 1 for 3k rpm and below and 3k rpm and above instead of 1 large set to power their bikes ..

Not trying to sell you anything but facts. And yes I have the evidence to support them. Thanks, Chris Jones.

break it out .. show me the evidence of a 50k miles street road turbo zx14 ..

i'm not saying i'm an expert on turbo's but i've yet to see alot of stuff from turbo bikes..most turbo bikes spend their life on the classified sections with low miles and fresh engines ..

(If we arent at the track) and usually I have my wife with me. I have two maps in my bike. pump gas,8lbs of boost= 265hp. c16, 12/14 lbs of boost=300hp.. very streetable with plenty of passing gear.lol

Ok, thats it...Next bike build I do I am bringing my bike to 1bad! He knows best and besides 1bad is a household name amongst the engine building/turbo community. I can only remember your threads bitching about grenading your bike and blaming it on MTC pistons?

Mr. 1badzx12r, you just answered one question for yourself with regards to streetability and smoothness of some turbo kits. The fact is, I keep the stock injectors in their place then add four additional injectors into the back of the airbox that are controlled by another ecu. Not trying to argue with you, thats not my style. There is more that one way to skin a cat, this is mine. I have nothing to sell you or hide. And btw, I can show you a turbo busa that I built for a genteman in lakeland, Fl that actually had over 50k miles before we took it apart to fix the transmission and freshen up all things. And it is still rollin, rollin, rollin! Trust me, I have nothing to prove to you or no one else. Your actions and deeds can speak for you in life. God Bless, sincerely Chris Jones.

My 2000 model Busa turbo has the MPS 62lbs hr. injectors and runs off of a reflashed stock ECU with a power cammander, GM map sensor boost referencing a hub to add fuel to the map under boost. It has a modified BEGI 2025 set ro 3:1. Steadman Motorsports tuned it and I must say it runs out pretty good. I have lowered compression 8.8:1 and it's no dog at all. As a matter of fact the only difference I did see after installing the pistons was it took a bit more boost to make the same power. But I also installed rods and cylinder studs too. So I can turn it way up. With good fuel od corse.

No you just told me big injectors and turbo pistons are not pigs off boost and are streetable .. now its 2 sets of injectors and 2 sets of ecu's and i can see that not being a pig .. .. or is it on a street bike 1000cc injectors and turbo pistons and a pc3 which is a pig off boost .. ..i'm not argueing.. i said 50 k mile zx14 for a reason ..theres tons of aftermarket stuff for a busa and a busa engine is better for turbo application IMHO ..

BUT look at all the old kawasaki 750 turbo's still running that the factory put out in 1980's.. And thats why i would take a factory made turbo bike over a kit turbo bike..

First off, you don't know what I do with my bike nor do you know when I run my bike or what races I enter. Secondly, I or anyone else would be a fool to hot lap even a stock motor bike 15 passes in a night. Maybe you should pay attention to the motorcycle drag racing attendance (it sucks) and I.don't feel the need to drive 500 plus miles to enter a heads up race. I don't think I have posted on here in at least a month because of trolls like you waiting to spew your negative bullshit. Hopefully I'm not the only one that thinks you're a douche (I doubt it). Post something positive or something useful/beneficial and I would be impressed. I'm questioning the fact that you have the balls to challenge a builder/tuner like Chris? Chris ain't my boy he did a service for me that I paid for and I'm sure he can speak for himself. I highly doubt that he will respond due to the fact that he is actually working and or building another turbo bike as we speak that he has.proven to work. This site has become a joke! It used to be full of helpful people that weren't dicks, to the point I have even given free parts away to members. Maybe you should take note of the people that are gone? Smokin, Dubious, Shane, ZXbob etc... If they do post its minimal! Good luck 1fatguy!!!!!!!!! Life Sucks when you live it like yours!

Robert, you are turning into a post whore
Nobody wants to read through all this drama and bullshit.

and yes I say bullshit cause I remember when you burned down your first motor, and its been how many since?
So dont ask for a 50K mile turbo bike mule to compare with, because NONE of your motors combined have that many miles on them.

stop the BS. already bro, your looking like a fool. We are all losing respect for you.

I will have to say with my bike making more than double the stock H/P/ it still uses factory rod bearings. If you make big power after about 24 months of hard use put some new rod bearings in it. Theres nothing wrong with tearing a motor down to freshen it up and check bearing clearance. It's better than torching your crankshaft or worse throwing a rod through the motor. Preventive Maint. is the best Main. Y bike has 70K showing on it. but it has been apart and freshened up. Maint. just like changing the oil.

not sure if that was directed at me, but I never proclaimed to be master of anything but my own manhood! LOL
I dont argue with anyone for the most part, especially not for arguements sake, and only a few have really disagreed with anything I have said, or done, mostly out of frustration, or because they are arguementive.

Who in their right mind would rather have 100 psi of fuel pressure between their legs and in their face, than 54 psi to perform the same work and and make the same HP?
Its just simple common sense that centrifugal fuel pumps will move more fuel flow and work more efficiently by design, with 50 psi back pressure, instead of 100+ psi.
Less leaks, more reliable pump and regulator, all add up to better fuel control, reliability, and safety.

anyway, dont listen to me, or the guys who melt pistons, listen to the guys who design and engineer turbo kits as a living, and win national races every weekend!

in the end, all that matters is we enjoy our scooters, and appreciate life.
have a great day guys,

Nobady can make your decisions for you, but some of us will offer good sound advice
