Another question - does stretching the bike without changing the 17/41 stock setup still give you taller gearing simply because of the longer chain?

CraZX14 you only have 56 posts .. I can see your PMs but you can not get PMs other members till you have over 100 posts..

Just install a 16 on the front and try it ... At 170 pounds it should be pretty close of you .. If it still bogs a bit drop it to 16/42 ... Removing the flys will help also .. I and others have done this over and over , we know what works and what doesn't..

WAY better traction tonight made a significant difference . . beat my previous best x3! Although it is obvious to me that I still need quite a bit of improvement, I felt fortunate in being able to practice with a well prepped track. Still looking forward to a shorter gear ratio and hopefully getting closer to those high 8's - Lee, it may take a trip to Sacramento for this bike to hit that number :-)

You got the sand out of your VAGINA just ask dakota or tiny BAWLS .
when you had cut a 1.5 sixty your et droped to 9.3 .
Wee cuts I believe 1.3's which would have but him in the 8's. Nothing is wrong with the bike Sir get those sixty's down and you'll fly like the rest of these guys. you can see from the ticket that you can ride just need to get the flies out remaped then run 8's.
