XZ-14's and exaust change?

Kinda new on the ZX-14 thing but had a 2005 Busa very modded before I sold it.
Anyway looking to install a full exhaust system.

Am I correct to assume that any such modification will require a PC Commander and remapping? Thank you all in advance.

You are correct. Hopefully in the near future there will be a cable and software available to flash the ecu so there won't be a need for the PC or Bazzaz but for now there isn't unless you want to send your ecu to someone else to have them do it. Then if you make more changes and need to re-map you'd have to send it off again. Not very productive for folks that like to work on their own stuff. jes my .o2

A PC may not be REQUIRED, but it is a good idea since it will change the way your bike runs. Also, there are other fuel management systems than the PC. I am not really familiar with all of them, but I know that there are add-ons for some of them. Quick shift, as well as fuel management. I have seen the Bazzaz Z FI TC has traction control, but not sure if that works on the ZX14. It is not available through the Bazzaz website, but I found it on other sites.
Does anyone have info on the TC for a ZX14?

I'm thinking about adding the PC ignition module for my PCV.I've got a muzzy ignition wheel but I would rather be able to change the advance electronically in case I get it dyno tuned.

TC for a ZX 14..

Fotis:

Congrats on the 14 purchase, welcome to the board and good luck with all your planned mods. Just chiming in for the TC question raised since I just read your post. Not looking to hijack your thread bro.

rynOcerOs:

As I understand it, the Bazzaz TC system does NOT work with the 14 though of course the fueling module does. Apparently a ECU issue at least for a 14. I don't pretend to know the technical fine points of it all. Took the explanation of this from my tuner (KWS in North Myrtle Beach, SC).
