stretch and lowering kit?

So, I've never stretched or lowered a bike before and not familiar with the products or what peices need to be strong. I was wondering if I could get you guys to look at this kit from fleabay and let me know if you think it would be sound enough to be considered safe. The last thing I want is to put myself in jeopardy to save a few bucks. Y'all have helped me tons so far, and I truely do appreciate it. Thanks.

I bet it's safe, but I wouldn't use a no name brand chain. Your going to need a shortened kick stand, a re valved and re sprung shock to deal with the extra leverage from the longer swingarm, the 3 hole links are not that great, i found out the hard way that the middle hole was to low (ground my new midpipe in a turn and burned a hole in my undertail) so Im looking for the fully adjustable ones now. You will also need to make or buy a tag holder that sticks back far enough to keep your tag from being eaten up by the rear tire during full compression.

The kickstand I was going to cut and re-weld, and for the tag I made the plat for it now. It should be alright if not I can adjust it accordingly. I was only planning on taking it out 5" or so. pretty much the minimum that I can. Will that still affect the rear suspension that much? Also, how do you support the bike while the dog bones are off. I don't have a hoist of any sort really. and I have the pitt bull front stand the fits in the bottom of the lower triple. Will I have to remove the front tire cover each time I lift it?

I'm sure you could use the stock shock as is, but it's gonna blow through the stroke on hard launches or when your double up.
As for as lifting the bike, I used a floor jack under the shock to raise the rear up hi enough to get a jack stand under each rear foot peg bracket, use wood blocks at every lift point to prevent damage.

As for your front stand, I would think with the correct adaptor you would not need to remove the fender

now if I can talk the wife into letting me drop $350 for the bike. I really do appreciate y'alls advice. I have been wanting to do this for a while but just now found a price I think I can work with. If/when I do this I will post a pre and post picture. Thanks.

You can get a set of extensions from allthingschrome.com on sale sometimes for $150. They are good extensions, ive had 2 sets and I'm still using a set.

I have the same style extensions. They were on the bike when I bought it, and I personally have 3000+ miles on them. They seem to be holding up well, and I'm a big guy 6'3" over 300lbs also I do ride 2 up on occasion. As far as the links go if you're a big guy you may need a stiffer spring. I had mine raised up to the top hole because the tire scraped the plate a few times. It didn't happen a lot just once or twice under very spirited riding.
