OK, so I am reviving an old thread.
I have a bad habit of leaving the lights on when I go into my house. I have killed at least 3 batteries in the last 2 years on my 2 bikes. If I did this to a Shorai battery, will it still recharge, or would I have to get a new one. I know if you completely drain a lead acid battery it may not recharge (especially if it is not new and if it sits drained for a few days).
In case you havent guessed, I killed the battery in my 14 yesterday. I am reduced to riding my old CBR 900 until I get a new battery.
BTW, any issues with this battery or suggestions for a better one?

Not sure what the condition of your is but I am still running the same battery I drained when I first posted this ;-) I'd just let it charge for 2-3 days and see if it holds charge...
