ZZR 1500
Just saw the latest from Young Machine mag - Japan a article on the new big Kawi, I think this is the real deal a ZZR 1500 with pic and all the specs.This mag was also spot on with the new ZX10.Will try and post pics.

What is 77 CCs going to be worth ?? 10 HP maybe ? Maybe 20 ?
If they went with 85 mm bore and 63 mm stroke we would be at 1430 CC That is pretty close to the 1429 in the story ..

it would be a huge stretch to call a 1429 a "ZX 15".............1463 maybe but not 1429cc..........looks interesting though!!!

77 cc would be about 11 hp on the average. that's not enough for me to go buy new motorcycle but if they put the ZX10 head on it that could be big.

i just hope KHI learnt a thing from Suzuki and keep the motor the same as the 1st gen zx14's.. so all i got to do is use gen 2 cases with 2 mm tall deck pistons .. being that gen 1 busa guys are able to swap parts with a gen 2

So assuming it's a 2x2 for 1463 how much power do you usually get with that? Of course these 44mm throttle bodies which are 2mm smaller than a ZX12 and what 3mm smaller than current ZX10 would have to go. That alone 1463 with 47mm throttles some mild port work that should keep the liter crowd at bay. Rear tires should be smoked real quick with that.

KHI could milk this redesign for another 10-15 years if they do a 2X2 with 47mm throttle bodies and bigger cams and a well ported head..........they could always use the ECU to hold back 5-10 horses off the top and bottom then for the next redesign in 5-7 years uncork it and give full power............I would think all these changes would easily be worth 20 horses!!

Lets hope!!............making it easy to modify would make sense and be the smart thing to do!!!
