1. A 68in bike with sidewinder can leave much harder than a 68in without one due to better ground clearance.
2. Most bikes with Sidewinders are track only bikes that are unstreetable due to big motors etc.
3. There are more bikes with street pipe than sidewinders @ the track.

I sure am. With the advice and input from racers here and elsewere, I hope it will be a fun one and something to look forward to for those who want to race.
I could just sit,complain, and make smart ass comments, but that is for losers.

so it sounds like you want a street class how about making a mandatory ride say like 30 miles or so

Too hard to enforce. Even large races with big sponsors don't enforce the mandatory ride rule.
I want rules that can be enforced. I see rules that can't be,or that are selectively enforced as a big problem in our sport.

Format (for now) is run what you brung. Track owner keeps track of the fastest bikes during qualifying (TNT) and the four fastest bikes run for a trophy and cash at the end of the night. Last race I qualified 2nd. 4th was a nitrous busa, 3rd was a turbo busa with slider, 1st was a turbo 1000 with slider, all lite riders. I beat the turbo & slider busa to advance to the finals against the turbo & slider 1000. The 1000 pulled me 2 bikes with in the 60" and held them for the win. However, I did win a grudge race against a zx14 (with a lite rider) that looked very similar to mine (same color, nitrous etc.) for a "Stack". All and all I had a great time and plan to run in the next race tomorrow.

Who says ya can't use a sidewinder on the street? I ride this to work, around town and runs the sample temp as it did stock length and with my ShortMeg..

Your wheelbase rules are way out of wack.
Theres no way, if i were 150lbs, that i'd race at 60" against a guy at 72". I don't care what kind of weight difference there is, you're allowing single stage lockups which means a turbo bike could OWN that class.
A 250 lb rider at 72" could EASILY run in the 7s. There's not a snowballs chance in hell to get a 60" bike there.

I think so. He is the jockey for a dragbike builder. It was a very close race. I had a .028 reaction and good 60".

Currently, there are no rules 'run what you brung' I have no advantage.
With my weight, and using a hand clutch, I have a HUGE disavantage if anything.
