I just recived a phone call from Roaring Toyz, First off Im happy now hearing from them.
Yes some of there stuff is made and packaged in Taiwan, seems compition and has forced them to do this. They do make several trips a year to the Taiwan factory to assure quality.
Some of the extensions are made here, some there. Chrome is Taiwan, anodized USA. Both made to the same standard.
He was not happy about having to use Taiwan to manufacture these parts, put the fact is they have to make a profit, Taiwan is the answer.
Very happy with how they contacted my quickly and addressed my concern.

It is kind of fucked up that your ripping into this dude for wanting to support our economy. I applaud you for trying to support America instead of the chinks. As far as roaring toys goes, if I would have known they were made overseas I would not have bought their lowering links. Unfortunately it's too late... but I will replace they and eBay them.

They told me they needed more customers like me, people that want and care about made in usa parts, most people dont care to spend a few bucks more for made in USA..
Now I need to know where brocks and muzzys pipes are made, it may help in my decision.

hehehe LOL ...
Vance and Hines races Vrods and all parts are made in America...Sell your zx14 and get a Harley
Lol I'll get right on that. It's not about buying only American, I try to when I can, and I try to avoid china and taiwan crap whenever possible. Japanese stuff is great, I have no problem with buying Japanese motorcycles or other products when there is no better choice (which there is not in this case)

man your living in fantasyland .. voting is what gott'en us to this point .. SOMETHING FROM Stalin The man that votes counts for nothing the man counting the votes accounts for everything ..
quote:I don't know why people are drawn to Roaring Toyz. You are obviously paying for a "name" and they specialize in "bling". Is it the prestige of having the Roaring Toyz logo stamped on your parts?
That being said, I don't care if the parts are made in Taiwan...they are overpriced no matter where they are made.
Bump for free ad for Roaring Toyz.
Shane
I have most Roaring Toyz parts on my bike and recently purchased a VERY slighltly used 330 wide tire kit with the outside drive instead of the common jackshaft. When I examined all the parts, the bearing and the sprocket support shaft on the outside drive was messed up.
I was like, "No big deal, I'll just order those parts that are messed up." So I called up Roaring Toyz. Wrong! Even though this kit was only 6 months old at the most, replacement parts aren't available. They upgraded to a "newer" design outside drive and is $1250!!
I'm not saying Roaring Toyz has bad parts, but you might want to think twice about spending several grand on a kit that doesn't have any replacement parts. (I know I purchased the kit used, so I'm not as upset as if I would have bought it new).
All their other Taiwan parts are great! No issues with any of them.
But I agree with you Shane, most of the parts are overpriced...

Im still waiting on everything from roaring toyz to show up, its been about 2 weeks now...
I know they are a bit more expensive but I really like the looks of there stuff, IMO most of the other links and extensions ive looked at are covered in "zx14, ninja and kawasaki," logos, I dont like all that goofy stuff on my bike. Just nice clean good fit and finish parts.
So my list of parts purchased is growing, All new bodywork and tank (2010 candy red), Anodized black lowering links, extensions and lowered billet kick stand, new chain and sprockets (rear anodized black), Puig racing windscreen (dark smoke) and new Pro grips gel bar grips. My birthday is july 2nd and Im thinking my better half has picked up something big for my bike , She really likes the brocks ceramic full system with the 20" can, and we have been tossing the idea of a dual bottle dyno tune nos kit..
Ive waited a few years and 20+K miles to do this stuff to my bike, I just needed this crash and my new upgraded girlfriend (who loves my bike) to set the wheels in motion.
