hey joel there are two fibers that are diffrent... 1 is the oversized fiber and that would be the very first one.... there is a second one that has a diffrent fiber pattern than the others that one i beleive is the seventh fiber .. if you have a manual you should check to be certain i have always placed that one seventh.. good luck

The clutch springs don't need much torque . Just by hand untill tight is good enough.

The small fiber goes in first and should sit perfectly around the anti chatter rings. All the other fibers and steels are the same except the last one which has more fiber contact area and it goes in last (closest to the clutch cover). Put the pressure plate back on and then insert the springs. You may need to push in the pressure plate pretty hard so that the fluid leaves the slave cylinder and goes back up into the resevoir. Install the springs and then put the spacers on with the bolts. You may need to keep pressure on the pressure plate in order to keep the fluid out. Once you do all of this tighten all of the bolts down in an offset order so that the plate seats evenly. I personally don't use a torque wrench I just make sure that they are good and snug. Hope this helps.
