Hating Muzzy right now
I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem. I ordered the Muzzy M14/M10 a month ago and I still have not seen it yet.....WTFM! To follow up on my order i emailed Dave Turner to find out the status and the email received an from Dave Turner on Thursday (3 Jun) and he stated in his email it would ship maybe later Friday (4 Jun) or at the latest Monday (6 Jun) well I still have not received it and I called today (13 Jun) and now they are saying it will ship no later than Wednesday (15 Jun). So I’m really not sure what the hell is going on but it sounds like Muzzy is operating like a Chicken wire canoe.

Welcome to the Forum, my guess is you probably used a credit card. Call your credit card company and dispute the charge and get that process started. Maybe it will light a fire and get your system shipped.

@ eklipse636: Thats what i'm asking myself now......I was really planning on getting the Brock's Alien head, but then i kept reading good reviews about the new M14 header with the M10 but ignored the comments about Muzzy's service sucks..........I think I’m going to send Brock's an apology letter telling them I’m sorry for being a dumbass.

Several years ago I called Dave at Muzzy and he mailed me a Free map for my Used M14 I purchased from a member here.. He asked what mods I had done so he could mail me the right CD. It arrived as he promised. My guess Muzzy was out of stock for a sale right then. They make them in batchs so they may have the ones promised to a dealer that buys 20 at a time. You keep the retailers Happy first. You want One he wants more several times a year. Dave may have tried to grab one to send you and could not and you had to wait. The M14 headers are Great on the street, not saying Brocks is not ............ just saying as I have run both of them On the street(roll on's). I use to work for a exhaust mfg. back in the day :-)

Never had issue with Muzzy, just passed 30k miles on the stage one turbo and 40k miles on the 14. After Scott Horner dialed in the mixture it's a scary beast now. Makes over 200 hp at 8k rpms. Then it just goes nuts.

oh come on turn that mudda fukker up to 300 hp and come back an give a review .. my stock zx14 with pipe and pc3 made 190hp .

I tried to buy a Muzzy megaphone full exhaust for my new ZRX1100.6 weeks later it wasn't even welded up yet.Told the dealer cancel it.He said the people at Muzzys were pissed at him.Who cares,shouldn't sell something you don't have.Thats a crime in most states.I bought a used pipe and Brock sent me 5 maps.I used 2 so far a street one which I got 38 MPG.With 16/43 gearing thats amazing.I was hard on it too.I got the track map in and I'll see what the mileage is.I like the track map cause it's running a little rich where the flies were.

+1and who cares what it makes at 8k rpm lol I'm at 8k for Please than a second if that even I think I skip 8k and go right to 10 lol
Normal people ether ride at 1-4k rpm or WOT no one really cares about 8k

+1 on the Yoshi! Great performance for the $$$. Even Street Super Street bike tested the R-77 full system and Brocks CT full system along with many others. On the dyno the Yosh made 170.5 HP/104.1 torque and the Brocks CT system made 172.5HP/103.5 Torque. No doubt Yosh is good stuff!

I would give them a call again. Muzzys is a good company with some great products. They've done a lot to support this site. I'm sure that you can sort it out with them.

It's a street bike nothing more. Would have to strip it to the bone to make low 8's or move to sea level. You can ride the 14 every day or brag about how fast you are. I don't brag, I ride with very little racing. Haven't found anything on the roadways yet in four years that can touch it. Bash away just don't care, love my 14 and it is not the fastest bike around.

Never had to go above 1/4 throttle, There are still laws that say you must have a lateran holder in front of a motor vechiles in the West. Blue laws are still around. It only takes a few seconds to make a street car into a mirror dot. With the wide open spaces of the West, no one is in any harm. Yes it is illegal. I'm very sure you have not broke the speed limit at least three times over.............Not.

Depends on "The Judge" ask Smokin about tickets. If I remember he said several thousand bucks and walking for 6 months.

i talked to muzzys yesterday myself great guys put together the stuff i needed and got it out to me yesterday so i could meet my deadline fantastic company
