Stock cams or racing cams - ZX 14

Hi guys,I need your input,a friend of mine want to flow the head on his 08 ZX 14,should he just degree the cams or should he have them cut.The tuner says he will loose torque if he cuts the cams, wouldn't cut cams be stronger in the higher rpms?

I think the tuner meant that you generally get a narrower power band tuning it that way for peak power. If he's got that kind of money to invest your friend might take a look at a stroker crank instead of head work.

I think a built head will be better than a big motor.
