Pc-v tps setting

Having trouble setting the tps to 0 at idle. It shows 18% at idle. Can someone explain the procedure for me? The dyno jets instructions do not work for my bike.

Seems dynojet did not update the procedure from the pc3 to the pc5 in there instructions, I have read that its not the same procedure but cannot find the new way to set it.

I had a load of trouble calibrating the TPS with my PCV, even to the point where I broke into the wiring loom and measured the voltage with a multimeter and then manually set it !!

The PC software just read zero all the time. My problem turned out to be that I needed to re-download the PCV firmware (this was advised by dynojet) once I did that it worked.

Basically you need to have the bike running at idle when it's hot. If you do it cold the servo motor that controls the fast idle will make the reading false, go to the "power commander tools/calibrate" menu

You should see the TPS reading displayed. Hit the "reset" function, the idle value should be set, then blip the throttle to full, the max value should then be set.... mine ended up at something like 0.7v min 4.3v max. You should then just see the % throttle displayed correctly in the main window.

Thanks, I had tried that route, it worked for setting the idle, but not the full throttle it would not set fast enough, it would hit rev limmiter before the software would get to 100%.
I ended up setting the idle with the motor running, then I would shut the bike off with the key, open the throttle all the way then turn the key back on to power the tps for about 3 secounds (the fuel pump cycle also powers the tps in this short time) and click the < button before the fuel pump cycle ended. Thanks for the help!

Now if fuel moto would send me my new map for flies out id be good to go!

you don't need to let the bike rev out to set the TPS, the output voltage from the TPS is read just by the position of the twist grip, ie in calibration mode just whack the throttle quckly to the stop and let go, don't let the bike rev out.... you should see a reading of about 3.9v-4.3v in the window

Thats what I thought to, but a quick "whack" was to fast for the software or my xps laptop to read,
