8 weeks Turbo is home. some of the Chinese farings installed
Went up Saturday to finally get my Turbo Busa project back. It has been at the dyno shop for 8 weeks, The April 27th Alabama tornado's had torn up the area and the Dyno was damaged by flooding. Anyway it was 110 degrees at the shop. Using an ECU flash with a powercommander and a hub hooked to a 3 bar GM map sensor for boost reference the bike made 332 RWHP on Av gas and 161 ft. lbs. torque. He has it so crisp it idles and runs like a stock bike. I installed some of the Chinese farings I had bought. First they do not fit as good as factory. You will have to slot some holes and trim a bit. On my I had to cut out for the air filter and the up pipe. I decided not to use the tail section and get a extended tail section. It still needs to be finished and then a good clean up. Mabe I can finish it and ride it to work by Friday. Here are a couple of picks.

right at 13-14 lbs. of boost. The motor has Falicon rods, 8.8:1 comp Turbo pistons, mild port work/clean up, 65 lb. valve springs, stock cams w/slotted sprockets, Robinson industries HD output shaft with undercut trans, pro mod Busa Cylinder studs and nuts. lockup clutch. It started as a junk yard special.

It started out as a salvage non running Busa but it had a clean title.

Ugly paint. should be a fun street ride now. And I don't plan on having it leaned over far enough to hit the filter anytime soon. It's for strait line.

A GT28R dual ball bearing with a ported exhaust housing, 255 LPH. external pump, 3:1 BEGI 2025 rising rate FMU, MPS 62 lbs. hr. fuel injectors, Reflashed stock ECU with a mapped power commander using a hub, and a 3 bar GM map sensor for boost reference through the hub. The header was from a velocity stage 2 hit, I made all the rest of the piping, It has a Tial 38mm external wastegate. simple setup. rides like a factory streetbike with just more power.

Yea, the Chinese farings make it look cheap and I left the stock mirriors on. The aftermarket rear shock helps alot to. It's just got a lot of power. Fun to ride.
