what year cct off a zx12 for the 14
I have a friend lookin for a zx12 tensioner to have milled down to fit his 14. does any1 know what year zx12 tensioner he needs? and how much needs milled off? I thought there was a post on here describing this but I cant seem to find it, lmk

I have 1 already on mine... bill eason did it 4 me a few years back... I just 4 got what year it needs to be and how much needs removed...

Call Jim at Competition CNC he sold me a new one and machined it for me.He installs them on all his complete egines he builds. I forgot what year he purchased for me. I sold it to Shane661 as I never installed it. My 2007 CCT noise Never got that bad.. A second or 2 on cold start first ride of the day and then all was quiet.

02 and up any year. The earlier cct is bigger in diameter but will work.
The only thing is some of those had issues,is why kaw updated.
I have also started using a better spring in the 12 cct, but really never had a failure with the 12 spring.............

ARE THE PROBLEM BIKES USEING OEM KAWASAKI OIL FILTERS,AND IF NOT COULD NON OEM FILTERS BE ADDING TO THE CONCERN BY BLEEDING OFF OIL PRESSURE,I HAVE a 07 , no rattle, ------------ motul oil stock filter
