IF thats the frame then it aint supercharged because u wouldnt need ramair holes ,now a turbo would need 1 hole in the frame,the block looks the same with the exception of the oiler lines,if they just stroked it and gave it better oiling im goin to the dealer and get me a nice candy perssimmon red 2010 leftover for 8995 and enjoy it cause i already got a worked 06 and im happy with it.

That's not true, air intake air can be assessed via the ram air tubes thru the charger then digested thru TB into the engine.

You have to allow us to dream... yeah we know the problibility of the bike being SC is slim to none... but can't we dream.... stop waking us up.... lol

Well we both know that the bore didn't change..... I think a 1441 would require larger cams and a better head.....

No speed sensor =ABS + traction control. King Kong is arriving this should smoke anything stock roll on power. Hopefully they just mute the top end power with a restricive muffler to make it seem a little stronger but not too much. Then it will have easy uncorked big power. Maybe a remap.

So guys, I'm just curious, how is the new 14 going to make a huge power increase with just a 90cc bore and stroke job and no forced induction?

you are right 90 cc will not make big hp just by itself ..Some head work , Cams and TBs will have to come into play to see a really big bump in power .. We will see Monday ..

And remember it is not just about the box stock horsepower numbers, we all know it will need to be uncorked and tuned, but think about the modification potential. With more displacement and hopefully a revised head, cams and throttle bodies any modifications should really bump it up. I am excited, but I am trying to throttle back because I know I am not buying one new, I will wait a bit until the price comes down.

ok, here is what I think.... my prediction for the 2012 xz14
-bore/stroke we already know 84/65 1441cc engine
-47mm TB, used from the 2011 zx10
-cams a little larger than 383/358
-large buckets
-larger vales
-comprable head to supply ample intake charge for the displacement
yielded horsepower result equating to .... wait for it.....
220-230 crank hp
191 +/- to ground
lets see how close I am?
