Hi All,
You know way back in 2005 I was throwing ideas up against the wall and I accidentally said that Kawasaki will build a ZX-13 or really surprise everyone with a ZX 14. 2011 is the 6th year of production and taking a quick ride in Daytona the 14 was fun but seemed a little long in the tooth. Watching the rest of the industry it is time the 14 got a make over. If 2012 is the year here are some of the goodies that we can expect.
ABS: is a no brainier, the Euro-Governments I believe will require all manufactures to have them within the next couple years and in most cases ABS has come a long way.
Traction Control: will also be a possible option as on the ZX-10 & c-14.
A form of VTEC: may also make it's way to production. Kawasaki's way of skirting the Possible Fuel requirements possible in the future.
The 14 is in need of a face lift, nothing major kinda SMOOODDE it up a bit.
And all this will be had at an incredible price of 1 dollar below 15K.
Not as exciting as a ZX-15 but this will increase sales by 15-35% depending on the economy.
