I walkede out of the Kawasaki dealership 4 times before they finally agreed to sell me my 2010 for 10,500. That was almost 3,000 off what they wanted. There were no rebates from Kawi, just 4% interest. I would never pay MSRP for anything. But, if you want the new 2012, you prob will have to.

That's what I'm afraid of. I have been quoted $11,500 otd for a 2011 but I am waiting to see the 2012. They might stick to msrp when they first come out and the msrp will probably go up. I hope I'm wrong.

My dealer in Toronto, Canada said they would have all the dealer info on to 2012 ZX14 by October 15th! Not sure if this will actually come to be....but we shall see. I think this forum/thread will have the info before that anyway!!!!

I bought my 2006 ZX-14 five years ago. It was a groundbreaking machine. It dynoed the same numbers as Smokin's 06 and later the same numbers as his 09 with the usual Brock's tuneup a PC and PIpe, and flies out. I ride street mostly with MOTUL 300V oil. I have over 16000 miles on the bike now and it still runs as new. I paid cash for it and it looks brand new. If I am going to buy a new bike I want real improvements in horsepower and looks. For a little over 600 dollars I can get a valve job and the head cleaned up that would provide significant HP gains. I don't want or need HYPE but I would pony up for a significant improvement like Kawi did with the ZX-10 in 2011. Rick you know the 14 was an upgrade to the 12, and Shane what do you care about showroom bikes as you have purchased every accessory ever made for the 14 including that hideous cow catcher in your profile picture. Stop being a RG nutswinger. RG is a super bad ass rider no doubt and I would have a beer with him anytime.
