I understand how smokin feels about all this with RG!! I have asked gadson a few questions about the 14 and he never replied to me at all I dont know if it's because he's too busy to reply or simply dont want to share his info about a supposably show room bike.

Madness, Dont feel bad Rickey has been busy with other issues lately. Two of his 2011 zx10's got stolen and hes been busy trying to recover them. They got 1 back so far.
Just so you guys know, all this zx14 stuff wasn't a promo stunt planned by anyone. It sounds good and may seam like it, but it really wasn't.
Lee, I'll bet you buy a new zx14. What are we putting on it?

The gen2 Busa is a solid second tier bike now. Just like the Blackbird was in 99-2000 to the Busa and zx12r. You better get your Franklin's ready.
So if I remember right the Zx 12 and Gen 1 Busa had about 30 more horsepower than a Blackbird.............so to make something a second tier bike like the blackbird I would say the new ZX would have to have at least 20-30 horse power.
So Jim I realize you cant give specifics............but would it be safe to speculate that the new bike will be easy to mod and parts will interchange with our current bikes?

Jim this was back in 08 after he tested the 08 14!! Some of my friends have asked him questions and he would always answered to them. I wish rickey the best and he was kind of my inspiration 3 yrs ago when I started drag racing but its all good no hard feelings.

Its always about promoting the bike around this time of year! Look at the buzz he's created already and we don't know shit about the new bike. Same thing every F'n year!

not for me.. i just like reading the comments..i don't give a shit about the 2012 zx14.. but shouldn't it be called the zx15 if anythings been done to it ..

the video that I listen to it sound like the valve train was in overtime at idle. If they have put this ZX10 head on the 14 and move the cc up two 1430? this would not be good for me! that would force me to buy a new 14 ! I just got the two that I have run in the way I want them to. I bought the first 06 to hit the Dallas area and it was 5 months past the time that they said it would release and then it was held up in California to re-flashed the ECU. The same thing with a new 10, big brother does not want you hurt yourself LOL.

One thing I know for sure is that Lee will be buying the 2012 model and He will be one of the first ones blasting some great numbers on it so I'll be staying tuned :-)

The Kawasaki Team, Highlands is no longer in existence. Some of the employees went to Pasadena Kawasaki and I (Jeff Peck), am developing a similar relationship with them. Gilbert and Bryan are still great riders and they are both building very fast ZX14's.

I remember the boosted ZX11 you rode. I think Gilbert ran the boosted ZRX.

Yes, you are correct, we had a great time in the Texas Shootout and we are wondering if Hurricane Alley is coming back. I asked Marvin Bennett if he had talked to Wayne lately and he said no. The economy has been hard on drag racing. We hope everything comes back soon.

I hope it turns around, it was pretty good back then. Whatever happened to Johnny L? We use to make weekend trips to HTown from Dallas just because the bike/race scene was so good. This year me and a few others have been running KOTT, but really up here, thats all we got.. oh yeah-Kennedale grudge racing.
