Most Magazine riders could not run a good number at the drag strip if you paid them and they are paid ..What we need is someone like Brock that will put more than one rider on the bike and test it ..

let me respond.... in 06 when the 14 hit the street, he had a stock motor bike, stock wheel base, with bolt ons running low 9's high 8's.... with a pro rider... no one could match those number on a stock wheel base bike with the same mods.... why? Even Rg, school bike with him on board could bearly match those number, and his bikes had swing arms/side winders and air shifter......

Then when the 08 busa hit the street, it was the baddest thing since slice bread... no one has been able to match those number with the same mods. Now he has a stock motor BMW with bolt on mods and the bike has gone 8:40 under Teasely.... no one has been no where close to that, the fastest so far is between Shine and the girl from Va, and they are running 5:6ish 1/8 mile.... right there with the 2011 zx10, plus the 10 only has a slip on/bolt on ext, gearing, quickshifter and tuning...... So don't act like Brock is doing everything on the up and up... he put out some good products that work, but not as they are working for him.

I think you are a good person and you have help me with tuning my whip on several times... but I can't roll with you on what you are doing..... Hell you are even posting on Rg's Facebook page..... WOW

You are one of the leaders on this forum..... I think people would expect more of you......

But like Jim, i have a hard time understanding any antipathy towards Rickey.

From my perspective, since I bought my 12 in 2000, he has been an 110% supporter of Kawasaki and folks drag racing Kawasakis.

Back in 2001-2002 from time to time Rickey showed up at the drag racing series we had in Houston. He was always available to talk with everybody, listening to issues and giving advice, or just shooting the breeze.

Fast forward to 2010 & 2011, Rickey pitted with Jim & TeamFatAss at Loring 1.5mile LSR.
Softspoken, never talking about his accomplishments, always interested in what you were up to. He'd pick up a wrench and help anyone who needed it.

RG is just a normal good guy with 99.999th percentile mc drag racing skills. His throttle and clutch skills on any bike are maybe the best out there.
