You guys have it all wrong, Rg is not a lier.... He shares what he can when he can, however
he can only tell you about the bike he was given to ride. Nothing more and nothing less.
When he was feeding this forum the little tid-pits about the new bike everyone was excited.
When Kawi requested that he retract the info he is obliged to do so. I beleive this new 14 will be the bike to have for the next two years.
I purchased my new 10, not because Rg was running some good numbers, but because I liked the bike and I wanted one. Now that everyone knows the bike is fast, there aren't many folks screaming BMW. This new 14 will out run the new zx10. I will have both...... there it is....
If you happen to purchase one and it's a turd, do you blame Rg for the poor assymbly of that bike....... If you don't run the numbers like he run on his is that his fault aswell?

FOR THE RECORD: I asked his nephew to make a few passes on my bike, with a 1:50 short time he ran a 9:05 in humid weather down at Bradenton, first pass....... I trust what he as to say....

Even if Smokin thinks Rickey is over hyping this 2012 bike- I would put money on it that he will be one of the first one's with it in his garage.

Smokin, comeon man you know the deal...RG works for Kawi, theres a reason why he is contracted by them and not you or me or anyone else that thinks they can beat RG...
Sure your good on a 14 and so am I, but your a little better then me, but can you put down good #'s on a 12, I can so that makes me a little better than you on a 12...Can you hop on ANY bike & put a good number down competitive with RG?...Thats what makes him who he is.....I cant hop on any bike & put down a # like RG can or lil Rich or like a few other jockeys can...
Smokin you really need to get out more & hang out with those that go to the MiRock races @ MIR or The Rock, then youll be humbled and have respect by watching those that ride different bikes in different classes and put down real good numbers...
Im not bashing you, im just sayin you should get out & see whats really goin on out there before you say what you may THINK...

Rick i'm NOT going to MIR or The Rock or any other track that is not local to me .. I do this for fun and fun only and i'm not traveling all over hell and back to run a bike for fun..

There has been plenty of hype on this board over the years, from a variety of sources.
Best to wait and see what the bike does at the local track, imo. Some riders can make any bike shine (think about the BMW's), and some bikes can make the rider shine.

Rick i have been at this racing thing 40 years .. I have raced a few you talked about and went faster on the same bike same day .. So the fuck what , I don't make a big deal out of it ..I don't need to see those guys run because i have seen most of them run .. Damn man you act like we are all stupid .. .. This post had nothing to do with Rickys riding skills but that is all you are talking about ..

Comeon guys, you think Kawasaki is gonna update the 2012 zx14 and have RG take it down the 1/8 & 1/4 mile and have it be about the same as the previous 14s???
