Anybody protect their rear shock?
What do you guys have that protects your rear shock since I can't use my hugger anymore when I'm slammed? Is there anything that wraps around it to protect it ?
Also, a MMS Blue 2008 color hugger is for sale for $125 that I purchased for $260's from Thailand.

Check-out R&G, they do a sock that wraps around the shock. (Shock-Sock).

When I replaced the OEM shock with a Maxton shock, I was told that these Shock Socks could cause the shock to overheat.

That's the reason I bought a hugger...why would anyone want one if it wasn't for that?
Tire rubber, road shit...always beating the shit out of the shock and sticking to it as well. I guess nothing can hurt it?

Who told you that? Never heard of that one.
Hell, according to research and the news everything is bad for us and can cause cancer.
