I just said you were full of shit, you were the one saying you were going to run me over. So come and get it.

Now who is feeling safe and talking tuff from a distance. You stuck you nose in were it didn't belong. No need to be rude. Just ask, somebody will talk to you (maybe). I feel am better than you, becouse you post your times. If you were closer and saying those things I would let that fat you think you see get @ your bill money. I am doing fine were I am. But if you want to get all huffy, you are welcome to come and welcome stay, but any disrespect and I will make your ass fly away.

That probably has a lot to do with it, and you have never started a thread saying a stock motor Busa went quicker than a big motor Busa.

I think 3000 was talking about a stock motor 14 vs a bigger motor Busa with a heaver rider on the Busa. I forget now.too many beers with BBQ. 1 Bads fault for talking about BBQ.

Thanks to the ones that gave me a few useful tips, the new front sprocket is on the way and I'll be doing the "grind off a flat on the speed sensor nut" mod.

I used the Kawasaki Zephyr 16 front as it has the material on both sides so it does not "Sing" to you. :-) go 16/43 you won't go back. Perfect for the street. Almost 70 in low etc.

Soon as he figures it out and either does the same or some other mod, I'll respond with a big bore or other mod myself. Baby steps..

I alwaysran 45 to 50 PSI when LSR - which helps top speed.
Quick shifter from paower commander will shave time between gears and keep the tires loaded. Top end is all tuck - usually moving back and up increases top speed.... tight on the gas tank and elbows and knees in. If you do not want to take flys out you can hook up the everpopular.... I can not remember the name of the device that has a transistor that tells the ecu it is 6th gear..... does close to the same thing.... Ivan's something or other.... I am sure this comment will flust out quire a response.i

Thanks for the info, Ive been toying around with those pressures myself with good traction still. I wouldnt want to hit the drag strip with these pressures, but for roll ons its seems to work fine.
Here is the changes im making now, or working on:
Down one in the front sprocket to 16T-vortex (16/43-aluminum rear)
Ground a corner down on the speed sensor nut.
45+psi rear 50 front.
Lighter tires (Pilot Pures) Ive read these are about 4 lbs lighter than my bt016's.
Shopping around for a light weight battery, I think im gonna go with the Shorai 18ah -9lbs
Thinking of lowering the bike an inch or so if its worth anything....

dakota9498 bought a cheap speedcell copy on ebay and has had great luck out of it. I'm pretty sure that this is the one that he's using. http://cgi.ebay.com/A123-4S2P-motorcycle-battery-quick-connector-13-2v4-6A-/190468754515?pt=US_Batteries&hash=item2c58d28c53

btw, you might also want to look around and see if you can find a zx12 rear wheel to swap on since they're lighter as well. You'll love your power pures. Dad put a set on his bike and said that they're great for the street. they won't hook with a long bike, but at swb they worked really well for him.

Yep that is the one CraigChrist. Didn't really take long from Hong Kong either. So far I have had two weekends of racing (running the compressor without the bike running) and a week of driving back and forth to work and all is well. But my clock doesn't want to keep time, not sure what is going on there.

Im tempted to buy the hong kong battery, but for about 30 bucks more the Shorei has a 2 year warranty.
Im going to search the zx12 wheel swap now, I think id have to do both front and back as I want a matching set.
My bike clock runs slow, is your slow or resetting to midnight?

Good luck getting one. I had one on order, but they are back-ordered and were suppose to be available first week of May, but still a no go. I got tired of waiting canceled my order and go the Hong Kong one. I figured for the price of that one I could buy two or three speedcells, so what the hell.

If you want matching front and rear wheels, you might want to look into doing a zx6 front and zx10 rear. the zx6 is bolton, and OSR makes the zx10 kit. Here's what it would look like with the zx14 front and zx12 rear.

No, i like the way the flies refine the low end on the gen 2's for street riding.

How about degreeing the cams on my bike? Is there anything to be gained? Could I move some low/mid power to top end doing this?
Any advantage you have is mostly coming from the weight difference between you 2. If he weighed the same things would be much different lol. Things being what they are though, the more weight you can drop, the better. A full exhaust, a pcV and a good tune would help a lot in the top-end power AND weight departments. Not to mention the handling and fun factor as well
