Got smoked by a HD ... Really ...
No shit i got smoked by old guy with a HD .. To make it worse it had a windshield and bags !! I pulled him hard out of the hole and right at the 1/8 mark he came flying by me .. What the hell !!! So we lined up again and he did them same damn thing to me again ..I can't take this shit !! Next time i'm unhooking my bike trailer and bike from the back of my Corolla ..

Bob it's just a joke ...But it really did happen .. On the way home pulling my zx14 behind my Corolla ..I think i could have took him if my trailer wasn't hooked to my bumper.. I had him by four cars untill i hit 60 MPH or so .. Funny part is the guys was really trying to race me , he was hammer down .. And at the next red light he trys me again .. I guess he wanted to lay claim to beating a sport bike even if it was hooked to the bumper of my car .. lol

Some of my co-workers have Hardleys and when I hear them talking about how they were haulin ass (barely over 100 mph), I want to jump in and say something, but I just listen and knod with a grin ;-)

I guess it's all relative.......When the local Harleys riders wobble thru the curves at Deals Gap at 18mph, the first thing they do is go in the store and buy a t-shirt proclaiming that they have "Slayed the Dragon".
You had me going Lee for a minute. I remember watching Chip Ellis run a full bagger Ultra Classic at Bristol with a huge S&S motor run low 10's.

I actually worked at a shop once building hot rod Harleys. When I run those things on the dyno I always had to prepare mentally for the 5500 rpm redline to roll off the gas (that just not normal when you are acclimated with import bikes), and the vibration/roar rattles your body like crazy. There is actually an older gentleman by the name of Jim Briner that rides a Road King nicknamed the Killer Dresser. It is all motor (Cycle Ramma, Pinellas Park, Fl)!!
He actually runs into the 10 second range. He actually still shows up to the track in Bradenton,FL pretty often. I have seen that big bike ruin the day of many unskilled and unsuspecting sport bike riders. That is one your friends don't let you live down. Chris Jones

i just want to know ..whatcha gonna do when the vmax comes looking for you ... i guess its gonna be an ass whooping your gonna have to take ..that corolla is stock ehh

That's Taco. He's a cool guy. Not much work done to his bike.
He hasn't been drag racing long. He's doing really good for the seat time he's got.
It's the silver v rod you got to watch out for.

Why has he been banned?
He had a real bad crash in his El Camino at Sunshine speedway ...From what i understand Mike hit oil on the track and lost controll and totaled his El Camino ... He sued the track and he got Banned ..
I missed that race so i didn't see the crash or what caused it , i'm only telling you what i heard from other racers..
