Not a lot of info to go on here.... but most of the time we heard this over the past 5 years had to do with the power commander. The ground system was a very bad system. Just re-run the ground to a better spot. Many people ran it to the battery. I just bolted it to the grame and never had the problem again. If you don't have a Power Commander, I would guess it was a fuse type issue. This was very common in 06 but most people had gotten it fixed with the ground. hope this helps. If not, keep us informed on what you find. Has to be a wire somewhere. Hope this helps. What I did was bypass the Commander to test it and sure enough, it worked fine.

Can you give us more info? How long had it been sitting before you rode it? Is there oil in it? Dose the motor turn over when you crank it or is it seized?

Yeah, but good thing it was such a simple fix that didn't cost so much. Unfortunate for the temporary PITA, yes. Over all, not such a bad day, right?
