baytown is a fast track compaired to the other texas tracks .. its biggest reason for fast is not the air but a tailwind .. the track runs south to north ..

baytown 5pm today Density Altitude: 2175 feet

We just get no respect here in Oregon for our air but today is fairly common temp 53 RH 65% baro 30.21 altitude about 40ft for -565 DA 101.66%. I took the bike out in similar conditions other day just full system no flys and PC second gear I open the throttle full at about 7k and it wheelies to redline. I know its not drag racing and yours does that in 4th ... Thats stock gearing. I still am impressed at the power.

Well I had to use this to see what kind of air we run in so I picked a day last week where it hit 62 out and the DA was 1788, then I went back last year to a day we raced in Aug and the DA was 3788 ft so much for good midwest air.

When I ran my quickest pass on my 14, the DA per the weather station was -1200 ft. Temps were in the 40's, pressure over 30, very low humidity, front had pushed through the day before. This was at No Problem Raceway in south Louisiana that sits right at sea level. It was like having a free dry shot of NOS.....felt like it anyway.
