Need lots o' help

Started putting the goodies on the 09 today and ran into some snags.

First, am I correct in assuming you can't use maps from a pc iii usb on a pc v? I am missing something because I just can't get the map to load from my 06.

Second, Is anyone using a quick shifter? I am trying one for the first time, not sure where a good mounting point is. I still have the Muzzys nut that you use to mount an air shifter but not sure that it is going to work, that looks like quite a distance to cover. Also, mine is a push style and it seems like I would need the pull. Some clarification would be great.

Lastly, I am mounting a raptor shift light. Had one in the past and liked it. This one however has a disclaimer warning against wiring to the ground side of the coil. It also has the launch light option. So what I would like to do is wire everything in the same area. Either in the rear by the ecu or up front behind the instrument cluster. I am going to need the tach output as well as the vehicle speed sensor wires. Does anyone know where would be best and what colors I am looking for. I do have a manual but can't seem to find either of these in the wiring diagram.

Any help on any or all of these would be greatly appreciated.

Seems like I read that you can convert the PCIII maps to PCV. But I am not sure on that one.

If you have downloaded the manual from this sight it has the wiring diagram in the back with the colors that you need. I will go look at my bike and see though. It was easier for me to tap into the speed sensor at the gauge cluster, and then just tapped into the coil wire on the left side of the bike. Not exactly the same location, but that was easiest for me.

You want to tap into the white/red coil wire, either back at the ECU or at the source.

The speed sensor wire is blue/yellow, I can't sight verify that one but I am 99% sure.

edit: I just read that the software for the PCV will let you import PCIII maps. Apparently that was a fix to the software, so if you loaded the software off of the CD it probably isn't the latest and greatest, just go to the Power Commander website and download the newest software.

Thanks guys that will get me started tomorrow, I figure the map from my 06 with the same mods will at least get me close.

Appreciate the help with the wires, electrical is just not my cup of tea.
