It always comes back to this argument, and it's always fun to argue about it. I like to think of it this way: The fastest cars always beat the fastest bikes...always. Just the way it is. Now...take $15000 and who's gonna be the fastest? Most likely the bike. Hell, take $50,000, buy and do what you want with it on a bike and a car, I would take the bike. Better yet, have them hot lap 5 or 10 times and I'll bet that bike is still pouring it on, and most cars will be in pieces down the street/track.
I do find it interesting that when there is a legitimate comparison made, it usually involves a $100,000 - $200,000 car versus a @12,000 - $25,000 bike. One that I remember was a Lamborghini Gallardo vs a Ducati 999s. The Ducati, at 1/10th the cost, won by a small margin, but the kicker to this test was that the Lambo was the absolute top ot the line model, yet they didn't even bother to use a top of the line Ducati 999R. I wonder why none of those lambos are doing 270+ in the mile... Just saying. When they beat bill warner they can brag  . That's a race that I want to see.

I think I have a Fair match for the tt lambo, the "499hp" ghost rider busa! That thing could wheelie on by the lambo, in the vids its pulling POWER wheelies at high tripple digits!

you don't have to go to Holland to find a 700hp street busa ..theres one in Houston own by trick tom that ran 256mph at texas .. but he don't street race or ride at night .. then theres another( zxalan ) that ran 231mph at texas thats 500hp that i've been on several 300mile road trips with .. but he ain't stupid either to race on streets ..

because it's fucking stupid and the risk outweighs the benefits. A better question is "why don't these TT lambos come to the track and show the real fast people (or even the moderately fast people for that matter) how it's done.

I was thinking if that lamborghini tt made 1500hp (I think that's more than twice stock hp) then any super sport or "hyperbike" that was put up against it should have about double stock hp, so around 300-400 crank hp is what I'd concidered high hp in this scenario.

you obviously have my red bike mixed up with my sons black 14? The red 14 will be out in about a month. The black 14 is stock motor the only moving parts in that motor that are not stock OEM or the valve springs and cam gear. Matt's bike has never used 100 shot! On that bike. But I understand about the whole weight thing so if you want to put a lighter rider on your bike that's cool but not a130 pounder Matt weighs 190 suited you can't get any fair than that. See you Saturday yada yada yada LOL.

Because they are built for street racing and thats what the owners use them for... These are drivers cars buy.t to drive on the open road and have plenty of power to beat ANY car that pulls up next to them.
If they wanted drag cars that preformed well on the drag strip I'm sure they would have them.

I see many of these videos, and have participated in some. Generally speaking the bikes are ridden by heavier riders who use the clutch when upshifting and have sub-par tuck with no so optimal gearing.
In fairness THESE PARTICULAR CARS will eat 99.99999999% of vehicles on the road, period. However, what I'd like to see is a better representation on the motorcycle end. Riders who don't weigh a shit ton, riders who at least exhibit something that represents a tuck, and clutchless upshifting. That shouldn't be too much to ask, really.
In the real world, when comparing an impromptu run between a sports car and a sports bike the bike should and usually wins, we all know that.

yeah that's cool about the race, but about Matt and Ronnie's race I watch those to race all night and there won't be 5 thousands difference between the two own motor, Matt should beat Ronnie he is 30 pounds lighter! About the ET racing we can do that ever weekend, but heads up pro-tree racing to see who has the fastest bike is a lot more fun for us and that's what we're going to do. And I'm sure will have more races then we have nitrous and maybe motor LOL. See you Saturday.
