Which way should these be mounted?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KAWASAKI-ZZR-ZX14R-Ninja-06-08-FRONT-ROTORS-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5885c21fdbQQitemZ380201213915QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

What direction should the pattern be going? Should there be something on them that indicates the direction they should be rotating?

They look to be Yana Shiki Rotors.
The pic on the left is the RIGHT rotor.
The pic on the right is the LEFT rotor.
I'm not sure I'd trust them for front rotors but was seriously looking at a rear.
I asked several vendors for the weight and the one reply I got suggested it was the lightest around.
If you do get them, I'm sure several people (including me!) would be interested in you weighing them
before fitting.

Hey Compton. I trust that's not your bike!
If it is maybe you saved a bit more weight by skimping on rotor bolts!!!

They are already on and are mounted BACKWARDS,
the guy that put my tires as a favor from another forum, bent my stock rotors(he paid for the new ones) long story short these are what are on there now with EBC Extreme Pro brake pads which he mounted.

Wierd vibrations and such are happening I have to give them a pump to get rid of it then it goes smooth, regardless they are on backwards and I need to flip them.

I have only run them a few times, should they be ok to run the other way?

I should have told him to get me stock rotors and pads because it was perfect before....sheesh

Shouldn't cause too much harm short term but get them swapped ASAP.
I've learnt the hard way that having people do you "favours" can prove costly!

The back can only be mounted on one side. It must be right.
The fronts on the other hand.............
I fitted EBC grooved discs to my Range Rover and each disc was marked.
The "swhirls" are designed to track brake dust etc. to the outside of the disc.
ie the way centrifugal force is already sending them.

My rear is facing the wrong way too though :\

That picture I posted is from Yana Shiki web site :\

seems like they should be the other way like the first pic, they guy that put them on also did not have a torque wrench and I am sure did not put high heat lock tight on the nuts....

So when I got to work this morning I check out my rotors, who vibrated and made whirring noises every time they were applied, and seems there is a score mark on the rotor....:\ I think I am going to have to have a shop look at this

I put them the other way and they still make noise, though once I got them hot, the seem to quiet.....also the dude that put them on, only put the plastic shim that must have come with them on one side, he did not realize they were stuck together so , there is one on each side now, ....so if they hold together through the life of these pads, i will be changing these rotors out if they don't quiet significantly...I also tried to weigh them and they were to light for my scale its a bathroom scale so it really was not made to weigh something so light

not sure if anyone is reading this anymore, but this morning on the way to work they were much much smoother, might be a combination of them bedding and the direction of the rotor....and me making sure everything was torqued to specs
