I am willing to bet your bike is worth more than you realize. A '06 is worth around 7300.00 in stock trim (bank will finance that amount)

So, add 400.00 more dollars to that total and you get the retail price for your bike.
Add the rims and add another 1200 to 1500 hundred... Your bike is worth ...

Now, can you find someone willing to pay that much in this economy?

Something is only worth what someone will pay.
Have you seen what used 14's sell for? It's dad, because I have a 08 I'd love to sell and get a 2012, the market sucks right now.

Yup, throw what the bank will give you out the window unless you find a sucker, these bikes are selling cheap and there not hard to find.

I am really considering putting it back to all stock. On the other hand I really don't want to sell it. But hell, I would love a 2012 SE. I realize the economy sucks and prices are low. But I figure the bike has got be worth 6500-7000 stock. White SE are pretty rare compared to the other colors.

After 18 motorcycles, I can say put it back to stock, a dealer may offer good trade it is a ZX14
with that being said, the bluebook on my 07 ,14 is $7400 so $1000 lower for a 06
look's like your 1/2 way to 2012. after market parts only lower the resale value!!
every bike on here and every body that builds, bikes builds them in their own way !
your bike looks good very good but if it was mine ,would change some thing to make it mine
so finding some one in your vicinty that want,s one like that and pay more for fancy parts?? could be luck!

DON'T TAKE IT TO A DEALER LOOKING LIKE THAT , TAKE IT BACK TO STOCK !

You said the new 14 was 14,000... Is that OTD? If not, that's not a "deal"
If that 14k is a otd price, that's not that bad of a deal

dont know how close you are to va but there is one dealer that has a black one which would run you about 13075 not including tax or title and if you want warranty they sell it at employee pricing

I have the exact same bike. Excellent shape not a scratch. 6k miles and I got mine for sale on Craigslist now for 7k obo and having trouble getting rid of it. I think I agree with the others. You'll never get what it's "worth" 9 k is a easy steal for your bike going off what's its worth. If it hasn't sold by end of month I'm just gonna strip it and trade it in at dealer. But 5500-6 would be the absolute least I would take on trade. KBB says 6450 in excellent shape bank would loan 6800 on mine
