Nitrous mishap

A friend has a 14 that is an 8.80 bike on spray. He was having some 60ft problems with an engine driven clutch so I rode it to confirm it wasnt a rider issue. At the first to second shift the nitrous line that goes to the shift solenoid blew out. Whoever initially installed the shifter on the bike put the solenoid way up front by the ram air cover. When the hose blew all the nitrous blew up and under my helmet around my neck and face. I literally nearly had frostbite. My faceshield frosted before I could even get the bike stopped. Needless to say, this problem will be fixed. Scared the hell out of me.

I know some people who have mounted their bottles up front for LSR. I think it is a real safety hazard. Glad you made it out ok.

Thursday my purge line came loose and whipped around and put a deep bruse on my hand through thick leather gloves. If I didn't have the gloves on, I think it would have cut my hand to the bone. Glad you're O.K.
