Harbor Freight Portable Tire Changer 34542
Took a ride to a local Harbor Frieght yesterday hoping to buy two items.
The wheel balancing stand and the tire changer.
The wheel balancing stand is not available in the store, and the tire changer is no longer available. Period.
I wonder if Harbor Frieight received enough E-Mails would they resume production?
With the cost of mounting tires rising, and the shoddy workmanship available at many shops, I've been doing my own by hand, it would be nice to have the option.
I'm sending them an E-Mail.
If you like agree:

I'll check out Moose Racing, thanks for the tip.
I've used the HF Tire Changer with no issues.

Am I mistaken in its appearance?
It looks to be a work station to hold the tire? With no pivot for a mounting bar?
For lack of a better description a spoon table?

NO-Mar has a good portable tire changer. I have one that I slide into my reese hitch on the back of my truck and change tires on it. Good product! NOT CHEAP but good.

I was suprised how well the floor model Harbor Freight model works with the coated ends
tire pry bars. The No-Mar Rocks but expensive.

We lowered it some and purchased othr brands of extras, tire lube, tire bar and rim savers, 4 borads on wood on ground so rotors don't hit. With the right extra tools we have installed hundreds of tires on it in hast few years. Friend rides with Connie Touriing Club on his FJR and changes all their tires. Gold Wing rims are one of hardest tires to do with our set up. Or getting used tired tires to hold air when placed back on from a repair (valve stem etc.
If I get one nail ,plug to get home and throw away.
