E85 and 46 mm throttle bodies
I think I like E85 and 46 mm throttle bodies. I went from basically stock, to a street meg and PCV, to E85 and Pipercross, to 46 mm throttle bodies. The 46s and no flies felt good, though it liked to wheelie more with SWB and stock gearing.
Ended the day with my best ET of 9.65 and a best speed of 150.85. Today I averaged 30 mph on the back half. Now if I can just get better on the front half, especially the first 60 feet. Not the greatest runs, but getting faster. I've been to the track 6 times this year and a total of 8 times in my life.
E85 was $2.89 a gallon and I can feel the difference and see it in my time slips and I can leave it in the tank and run it out going back and forth to work if I want.

Thanks Lee. Going to E85 was good for a 3 mph gain and then going to the 46s was another 3 mph. This is how the bike will be till after Maxton in April. Maybe I can get used to it a bit now. Thanks for the 101 thread. I've read through it a bunch.

To much work just run a set of 1000s and be done with it.

just use '08 ecu and throttle bodies off of a busa .....
and then you can have a very fine adjustment for idle and alot of fuel under boost.

Rich put on some extensions and now he is faster than I am :-(
He went 9.22@ 150 with a 1.56 60 '
I guess 80 or 90 lbs of ballast is killing my bike . Fat boy needs a 1530 to keep up with a skinny guy on a stock displacement bike

8 runs today. Quickest was a 9.26, slowest was a 9.51. MPH was from 149.18 to 149.83.
