I will be getting a data logger in about a month & asked & search for these answers, Seems like for a clean rpm signal, you need to connect to a injector wire, the coil wires are dirty & cause spiking...??? This is what i gathered..

Yes i've heard that also but My RPM signal is clean .. My problem is my TPS signal for throttle postion its all over the place .. at idle it will range from 0 to 10 % but with the motor not running its fine .. if i hook it up to dynojet instructions it goes full rich .. this is my second wideband i took it my 1st wideband was screwed up ..

you have to set the calibration so it does not try to read from 0 to 5 volts. the tps on a 14 will only read about 3.7-3.9 volts at 100% throttle

is your wot tps 3.80 or slightly lower ? if the settings are more then that'' this is why the dirty signal.
Go into parameters on the wideband and set it for 0.63- 3.6 to 3.8 and see if it doesn't clean up.
Also i guess you know red is correct your tbs should only see the above margins when setting them on the bike itself? and the 14's are really sensitive at the lower value for some reason at idle to mid range they will do some funky shit if set slightly off.
If the lower range comes up to like .068 at closed throttle it will only let it see 3.68 or so at wot,but runs fine then thats where you set it.
I have nos controlled bikes come in with the setting to on nos at 5.0 volts or little less and can't figure out why their nos isn't signaling.

this what i have bill

TPCLOSED 0.80
TPCURRENT 0.75 with key on ...this number jumps around with motor on
TPOPEN 3.76

AND 0% in the throttle postion window ... works great with just key turned on and rolling throttle ..everything works like it should ... started the bike and the TP'S jump all over the place .. grounds are hook to battery and kinda steady it up some. but still not perfect like with the motor off and key on ..

The only thing i can see different is i have my tach/rpm hooked to the number 1 coil with the pigtail that schnitz sells, plus i have other things getting a signal from there as well.
I know this is not what your asking but just chasing anything at this point because your hooked up correct and shouldn't be having this issue.
Mine also was connected to pc and lcd with the cable DJ offers but that shoudn't make any diff. you think??
I'm at the bike now keep looking.............

thats what i'm saying ..i first figured it to a bad WB but this is another WB and same issue .. its something on the bike causing it but damn if i know .. i've disconnect all kinds of stuff to see what happens .. but nothing work except the grounding to the battery help..

the TP's on the power commander works flawless .but the wideband is another issue

Have you tried checking tbs with meter on bike ( running) not running ? but shit i guess it would show bad on pc if the tb senser was bad.
Maybe check it with both then without either and tap on senser ??
