So Is there such thing as too much flow when it comes to the turbo return.
Or is it, more is better? The quicker you can clear the oil out of there the better it will cool/lubricate?

I can't say if too much is too much ... I ran a holley red pump on my turbo ZRX1200 and it worked great , never had a single problem with it .. One thing for sure is a red or blue holley pump last for a long long time running gas ..Pumping oil one would think it would last twice as long ..Would a holley blue be over kill ? Could be ... But the holley Red worked well for me and you should have zero problems ..

Which scavenge pump were you using? Was it the cycle logic one? If so, how long did that pump last you, and what weight of oil were you using?

Thanks guys for the info. I am going to get that holley blue installed tomorrow.
The pump that went bad is a small black plastic one with 1/4 barb fittings. The only label is a CE on the side.
I have always Royal purple 20-50. But, at the end of the season and over the winter I had Castrol 10-40 in it just to run it in the garage and get the new clutch setup.
I had this MR. Turbo setup for a year with no problems at all, very happy with the setup.
I Bought the whole setup used, the guy before me said he had the same issue with the original pump, so he put this one on. I am not sure how long he ran it before I got it.
But after thinking this one over, it just makes alot of sense to go with the bigger lines and the bigger pump.
