Wraps?

I wanted to know if anyone on here has messed with these. I was thinking about painting the bike but I saw this and now I'm thinking about it. I was going to paint the bike myself. I'm by no means a painter though. I got a quote from one company around $1500 to wrap it completely. But only $400 for the material. Figured that's about what it'd take to paint the bike myself. Any thoughts to help me decide?

Wraps on something as curvy as a bike aren't as smooth as they look in pictures. $1,500 to wrap the bike is insane.
For that much you can buy a brand new set of plastics and tank.

+1 extra set of plastics

check out youtube FELLERS ZX14 WRAP, they wrap the complete bike.
Not the plastics piece by piece so what will happen if you need to remove a plastic for whatever repair??

to be honest it does look nice but i wouldnt spend a cent on it

if your serious about changing the color and you want to go with a stock color or scheme check out.... http://402bike.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8
He has quite a few of brand new plastic sets and it is a very good deal.

I have spoken with them quite a few times when i was looking to replace my plastics.

Hope this helps.

Well, I have about 3 months to decide, but I'm definately leaning toward painting. I don't think I am going to have the patience to wrap the entire bike. I hate getting rid of the special edition paint, but I'm not very attached to it. I really don't even like white bikes.
