HOUSTON RACERS
We care trying to set up a bike class at the TX2K!11 event the rules are simple, so any of you guys that wanna come play show up and lets have some fun racing!!!
Ok. The class is about to be official.
The Rules will be 70" Wheelbase. Must have a ROUND Tire, and a HAND CLUTCH. No limit on power adders.
**Slider Clutches will be alowed, but will be limited to NA only (No power adders).**
Based on the amounts of entrys we have it will probably be a QUICK 8 Shootout. If we have more we will figure it out the day of the race.
#1 Qualifier runs #8 qualifier
#2 runs #7
etc etc etc

I like the sound of this class, no limit on power adders? Does that mean nitrous and turbo? I wouldn't be in for that one. Slider clutches does that mean RPM driven clutches? Because Houston does not have any fast bikes without those clutches LOL. It would be nice to see a guy with a hand clutch have a fair chance. But that probably won't happen.

You can strap a jet on Your bike If You want if that's the power adder that You wanna use lol but the hand clutch will be the one main rule that and the WB its more of a fun race with a little bit of money. As far as I know it will be a 100 for the entry plus tech card....

So sliders are allowed but only on non power adder bikes? LOL thats funny you may as well eliminate sliders all together.

I did get on there and it looks like it's in all car race and a two day event Saturday and Sunday with the finals begin on Sunday. I heard some guys say they race there last year at a different event and the attraction was about the same as on the street.

I don't remember exactly like 4.37 i think .. a box stock gixxer has it ..

The track hooks for them 1000+ hp cars on DRs with 6 speeds im sure it will get a bike down the track...

so what is your goal on the 60-130 i have a P-BOX that we can use if they dont wanna let people use the one at the track or if the line is to long

a1000 hp car would come up way short on a good running street bike.
