NEW COOL SHOP IN, RIALTO, SAN BERNARDINO, FONTANA, THE INLAND EMPIRE, CALIFORNIA
I am a true and honest guy when it comes to my bikes and cars...as well as my other toys. I will go to a place that has a one on one feeling of customer service of the days of my grandfather. Unlike the days of the BIG BOX...motorcycle stores of today. Where no one knows your name...let alone your motorcycle.
So, with that said. I was very tired of places like Chapparral. You walk into this huge place and all these youngsters, are grabbing books and trying to find out what the part number is of a ZX-1400 brake fluid resevoir. After they fiddle around for a few minutes....you just wince in pain and pull out the part number for them. They go...OH! Thanks...that's it. It will be a seven day wait for that part to come in...what else do you need. ARG!
Well, less than three weeks ago, I decided to sit down and punch in some key words in GOOGLE, to see if there was by GODS gift, another little shop somewhere around my house here in Highland, San Bernardino, Fontana, Rialto...INLAND EMPIRE area...other than the above mentioned store.
UP POPS a shop by the name of [URL="http://www.gizmotohpm.net/"][COLOR="Red"]GIZMOTO HIGH PERFORMANCE MACHINES[/COLOR][/URL] in Highland California...just three blocks from my house! HUH! How can this be? Well it turns out the guy moved from the San Fernando Valley to a new home here in Highland and brought his shop with him...seven months ago.
Here is the details of this cool shop. I drive in my three year old ZX-1400 the next day, just to check out the shop. Three weeks ago...it was nothing but stock. I had been wanting to dress it up...as the ECONOMY has kept me from buying a new bike, like I normally do every three years. Plus the bike just broke 12,000 miles. Yeah I know. That is another story. In three years my BUSA had 48,000 miles. LOL!
To stay with the story. I was able to meet the owner, Guillermo "GIZMO" a Ruff Ryder Mechanic and rider for well over ten years and shop owner, along with his wife. This place is medium size and have all types of toys. Oh, and yes the owner walks around the shop and helps you OH and AH at the toys...and will pull out any type of book and photos to show you how those toys will look on your bike...and at a price that is to GOOD TO BE TRUE...but it is!

5. New Driven chain blue
6. New brake and clutch resevoir
7. New tires
8. New rear bike stand
9. new GPS nuvi installed
10. New wired power plugs from powerlet one front two under trunk for iphone and gps
11. New chrome levers
12. Oil Change and K and N filter. Air as well
13. Cramp buster
14. New Cover for Bike. Water proof.
15. New Blue Tooth Helmet from O'neal and a new Sparks Helmet
16. New Double bubble Windscreen DARK BLACK.
PLUS A TON OF INFORMATION ON WHAT CAN BE DONE TO MY BIKE AND SERVICES THAT ARE SCHEDULED AND NOTED. ALL DONE IN A FIRST NAME BASIS.
No, more BIG BOX MOTORCYCLE STORES FOR ME. I am now a really happy motorcyclist again. The way it should be. First name basis and a place to go and eat Pizza with a guy and a few of his mechanics at lunch time, or just a place to go and see what is new and spend a little bit of money for QUALITY SERVICE.

Gizmo Sanchez was able to do all of this work....in three weeks. Rims...and so forth...in less time than it would have taken to order the brake and clutch resevoirs from the BIG BOX MOTORCYCLE STORE.

Hey I think I've seen you around here cause I live right by the speedway and ride a Passion red 06 14.
Very cool! Just when you think mom and pop shops are a thing of the past here comes a great shop to change your mind.

You know I live so close I could literally walk there. I can't believe I haven't raced there yet. That will change this year though. My club has been wanting to go racing so its just about time. I went to LACR as many times I could before they closed, did irwindale for 2 years but haven't done fontana yet!

Fontana 1/4 strip only lets public bikes & cars race in the Summer usually once a month for about 3 months. You might get two passes with the wait if your lucky.

question is how many of you guys use to street race in compton back in the day. mid 90s to early 2000s

Yes. That could have been me. I ride a lot over in that area. Going to Mira Loma and down through the streets there in Fontana.

Not me ! I aint that old lol! I only race on the track and very little with the Busa boys on the streets now a days.
