CBR900 RR wheel mounting
Has anyone ever mounted a CBR900RR wheel to a 14? Sounds silly yes I know but I need a 16" front wheel and was told that this wheel is a 16". Any help would be appreciated.

The 900rr wheel is a 16" . The mod for that bike is a 17" off a CBR600 F3. Both wheels are the same except the diameter. What are you trying to accomplish with the 16"?

A 16" front wheel will make the bike lower. Aren't the prostreet guys running a 16" wheel?

Yes, my bike is very low already and I can really only lower it anymore with the 16" wheel. I want to know if the rotors are a direct swap etc...

If you do the mod let me know how it turns out. I have a long way to go before I get to that
point but I'm curious to know how it works.

More expensive than a transplant but much less hassle.
BST make a 16" Prostreet wheel in zx14 fit.

I have a 16" cbr wheel that I want to put on also let me know the cost and mod's that need to be done,I know the rotor's won't swap over but if you get the rotor with the wheel you can get a billet spacer made to get the correct offset on the rotor.

Marvic and Carrizolla do but for over $800 vs. the $75 you can a CBR wheel for. The CBR wheel looks just like a BST design too.

Kit is done --- the 98-99 list a left and right rotor -- i only had a left rotor -- thats all i could find so i just hav ethe one for the kit.
The wheel is centered -- the rotor is centered in the caliper so i would assume the right rotor would line up but I'm not sure -- If you are wanting this kit for single rotor it is setup for that on the left side.
If anyone has a right rotor send it and we will make sure you can use it as well.
Kit is $75 for spacers and bearings.

I'm not sure -- the part numbers come up as 98-99 wheels being the same -- ealier are still 16's but not sure on the difference other than the rotors.
