great video by teasley but its teasley i cant ride like him and not many can i tried to race 1000cc bikes and its hard to launch them power band is too high i love the bmw 1000 prolly gonna go pick one up in atl in a week but the 14 will still be my drag bike

A milled,ported head does'nt make a bike a ringer. Bmw performance center had a bike that went 8.50's I believe with a female rider. Set up like "Christine". Not sure what was done if anything to that motor,but it's claimed stock also. Either way, schnitz got a mid 1.3 short time and the girl got a high 1.4, so do the math.8.40's and 8.50's are a far cry from a 9.15 being that the 60' times are 1 tenth and 1.5 tenths slower and I haven't even included the 8 to 10mph difference in trap speed.
Those beemers have work done to them, they are not stock.

I would think JT could tie the record held by the gen 2 busa on a 14 set up the same way.

yeah at least your air is cool tho ..mines freaking 82 degrees and sticky at 10.30 pm and i got a race on saturday .. but if this heat don't break fukk it .. i hate leathers and 100 degrees and sunshine

Well, I finally saw a BMW at MIR last night. It was stock wheelbase and looked to be strapped but still looked tall and it had a stock exhaust as well. Dystany Spurlock was riding it and the only pass that I got on video she went 9.49 at 152.
