The center stacks on the 14R are longer than Gen 1 stacks....

......so I'm wondering if the gen 1 would benefit from the same sort of approach. The pics shown in the thread above show that the 14r's middle ducts are about 10mm higher. That could be done with the Gen 1 using the two 15mm stacks and two 25mm stacks.
I'm sure the height is an exact science but I was just wonderjng if anyone had tried to combine the two heights that are readily available in the aftermarket ducts.

Here's a pic of FP stacks with high and low combo. Obviously not a 14. By the shape of the air filter, I'd say that was a GSXR.

No Rook, I never experimented with mixing different length stacks... I decided the 25mm's would be best for me (100% street riding), and sold the 15mm's... Sry.
