He's talking about the fronts.
It is done to get the bike lower, and it puts weight further out in front.

Sorry, didn't mean it lowers it, trying to do too many things at once. I meant that it is common on lowered bikes, to get the weight further out in front.

My crashed 07 I bought for $2400 and then put one of those $600 dollar set of China faring kits off of Ebay on it and had the swingarm extended. Turned out nice. sold it for 7K.
