Call me stupid but why would the bolts get hot from adjusting the chain?
No clue but I know of 3 of them that have stripped out there

Are you talking about the *locking pin* that holds the all thread from moving inside the axle blocks? I'm confused about what you're referring to.

Also, did you use the stock caliper bracket bolt for the Caliper rod brake adjuster thing, or did you have to go and buy a longer bolt?
I think its pretty cheap of Evil arms to not include the required hardware to hook up the brake adjuster. It would take them $1 in bolts, and doing the R&D once to save all of their customers from having to go to the hardware store for 2 bolts. That's my only complaint.

I actually had a longer one, but you will need to go buy one if you don't have it. and yes I to think Evil could at least send the hardware for the brake arm. not to worried about adjusting the chain and stripping the bolts. really think that is operator error. my chain adjusted easy no issues at all or do I see how there could be any issues

It could have been and its a very simple job to do but it happened to 3 different bikes with 3 different people working on them...
And I'm not running a rear on my bike I don't ride it on the street much anymore so I decided to just save the extra weight.

Gilbert did they recommend underbracing? when I called to ask about them making an arm for me they recommened I underbrace it for 12 over. I really just want the arm for the look and maybe lose a couple pounds don't really care for the underbracing though

They said I'd be fine without, but much longer andi would've needed it. I don't think I'll run it at 12 over though.

I'm sure that once you get that thing to hook up you're going to want 12". I can imagine that it's going to be a bitch to 60ft.

Regulator showed up today. Everything else is done. It will hopefully start up right away. Should make some fire and smoke (plus a lot of noise) within an hour or two! KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME!

Ok, update.
It starts but runs roughly. I desperately need to hook up the Wideband and see what's going on. I don't see how my cam timing could possibly be off, but it sounds cammed out. We will see if getting it back to 14.7:1 cures the rough running, as it's undoubtedly way out of tune.
Also, oil is being blown out the exhaust due to excess oil pressure within the turbo. I've found that routing the oil drain to the oil filler cap instead of routing it to the bottom of the oil pan causes it to stop blowing oil past the seals. So, I'll be trying a restrictor at the oil feed to reduce the flow and pressure buildup inside the turbo, but I may have to create a new oil drain by routing it to the oil filler cap.
Lastly, my clutch isn't working, at all. Its not a hydraulic problem because it doesn't even engage the transmission in gear. I've never replaced a clutch, so I mist have done something wrong.
I won't be able to focus on it till tomorrow because I'm on vacation.... Funny, cause all I want to be doing is working on my bike. In fact, the only reason I'm posting this is because my wife is shopping. Sigh.... Give and take right?

Set to 13.6 at idle ... set off boost numbers to 13.1 to 12.9 .. All numbers on boost should be 11.8 to 12.0 .. I set mine up at 11.5 just to be on the safe side , it might foul a plug a little sooner but better than burning a piston ..

I was looking for 14.7:1 at idle..... 11.5:1 under boost.... as I've said many times before in this thread. Don't worry, I'm not that dumb!
edit: thanks for looking out for me though!

Welcome to my nightmare...

Even though I'm in the "putting it all back together phase," I have to disassemble it even further it seems to get it back together. There have been a bunch of distractions, plus I'm still waiting on a few parts, but most of all, I just need some time to be able to finalize everything. I want it to be running well before I take it to the dyno.
